September 20-23 Poetry Train – For free
Poets in 64 cities/towns between NY and LA (19 states) can hop on the Poetry Train. It’s free. You only need a valid Amtrak ticket and accreditation to enter the Poetry Train.
September 23 LAPD (Los Angeles Poetry Downtown) – For Free
Local poets and poets from the Poetry Train can read their work in bookstores, museums, hotels, libraries, etc. By bringing poetry to all neighborhoods we want to make Los Angeles crazy about poetry.
September 24 Los Angeles Poetry Beach Festival – 10 USD – Pay here
Poets can register their ‘I Never Could Talk To You’ poem before September 1. 52 poems will be selected for our anthology. 12 poets will be invited to read at L.A. Poetry Beach Festival 2023.
