This are the first 10 independent bookstores and libraries that accepted my proposal to visit them during the April Poetry Month:

• Harriett’s Bookshop in Philadelphia, PA
  This independent bookshop & writing space celebrating female writers, activists, and artists.
  
• The Book Rack in Cincinnati, OH
  Serving bibliophiles on Cincinnati’s east side.
  
• Galesburg Public Library in Galesburg, IL
  This library serve the community as a general center of information, and provide opportunity and encourage citizens to use its services and materials to meet their educational, personal, professional, recreational and cultural needs.
  
• Wordsmith Bookshoppe in Galesburg, IL
  Wordsmith Bookshoppe aim to have something for everyone. From the toddler just learning her colors and shapes to the seasoned reader looking for the one book he hasn’t read yet, we will work with you to find just the right book.
  
• The Raven Book Store in Lawrence, KS
  We are an independent book store specializing in literary fiction, mysteries, and regional books. We sell greeting cards and gifts.
  
• Book Depot in Lamar, CO
  The rare and elusive southeast Colorado used bookstore.
  
• Santa Fe Public Library in Sante Fe, NM
  The mission of the Santa Fe Public Library is to inform, enrich and educate the members of the community by creating and promoting access to a diversity of ideas and information, and by supporting lifelong learning and reading. In accomplishing its mission, the library honors the community’s unique cultural heritage and traditions, while preparing its community members for the future.
  
• Gunstock Hill Books in Sante Fe, NM
  Located just a few doors down from the Georgia O’Keefee Museum on the historic Santa Fe Plaza. We are a boutique book store specializing in old, rare and collectible books.
  
• 5th Street Books in Kingman, AZ
  A small, family owned used book store in historic downtown Kingman. Specialize in Used Books (Non-Fiction, Classics and Children’s), Music and Movies.
